Chalk Paint Wax – Protection, depth and a refined finish

Chalk Paint Wax seals and protects furniture painted with chalk paint. It intensifies the depth of color, creates a pleasantly soft surface, and can be buffed to a high sheen if desired. Furthermore, it is water-repellent, making it ideal for dining tables and kitchen cabinets.

For the characteristic Annie Sloan look, apply a thin layer of the wax using a wax brush. It is best to work in small sections and remove any excess wax with a clean cloth.

A shabby-chic effect can be created by lightly sanding the waxed surface once it has dried. This reveals the layer of paint underneath. Finally, a second coat of wax is applied to seal the finish.
