Fine-meshed rattan weave

The fine-mesh rattan weave is a high-quality natural material made of 100% rattan, obtained from the durable fiber of the rattan palm. With its fine-mesh, air- and light-permeable structure, this weave is the perfect material for stylish DIY projects, furniture upcycling, and elegant home accessories in a Boho, vintage, or Scandinavian look.

The weave is particularly popular as a natural insert for cabinet doors, dressers, chair backs, lampshades, picture frames, or custom room dividers. The fine-mesh woven structure looks refined and elegant while remaining surprisingly robust and flexible. For optimal processing, the weave can be lightly moistened beforehand to make it pliable for pulling over edges, and it can be easily cut to size with scissors as desired. Paint or glaze the material to suit your projects – for example, in combination with our popular Annie Sloan chalk paints.

With its practical dimensions of 35 × 50 cm, this cut is ideal for smaller upcycling ideas, craft projects, or accentuating furniture surfaces. The weave brings natural warmth, lightness, and the charm of authentic craftsmanship into your home.
