Gold Size

Gold Size – a reliable base for gilding with gold leaf

Annie Sloan Gold Size is a high-quality, water-based adhesive specially developed for working with gold leaf and metal leaf. The term "size" comes from the Old English word for glue – and that is exactly what this product is: a reliable base for your gilding projects with gold leaf or metal foils.

A particular advantage of this size is its ability to remain permanently tacky even when dry. This allows you to apply gold leaf precisely without having to work under time pressure. This ensures even, professional results – even on fine details or larger surfaces.

Gold Size is ideal for creative applications on furniture, frames, moldings, or decorative objects. Whether as a stylish vintage-style accent or for modern highlights, this gold size makes every gilding project a real eye-catcher.
