With gold leaf, you can give furniture, frames, and decorative objects an elegant, metallic sheen. This imitation gold (Dutch metal) is ideal for carved, textured, or relief surfaces, where the light plays particularly beautifully.
To prepare the surface, apply Annie Sloan Gold Size and wait until the surface becomes tacky. Then, apply the metal leaf with lightly powdered hands – it adapts perfectly to indentations and textures, creating a luxurious finish.
Since Dutch metal develops a natural patina over time, we recommend sealing it with Annie Sloan Soft Wax if you wish to preserve the golden shine permanently.
? Perfect for furniture refinement, frames, upcycling, decorative objects, and artistic highlights.
