Clear Topcoat Sealer is a soybean oil-based, penetrating alkyd sealer. Clear Topcoat Sealer has a creamy color due to its natural soy base, but dries clear. Clear Topcoat Sealer is sandable, suitable for outdoor use, and has a matte sheen. Once cured, Clear Topcoat Sealer is water-resistant. Clear Topcoat Sealer is ideal for almost all paints and glazes, but not for pure white paints without pigments. Clear Finish is suitable for this purpose.
Clear Topcoat can also be used as a primer and for the pretreatment of porous surfaces.
