Honfleur is inspired by the warm brown tones of the rustic French coastal town. It is a rich, deep earth brown reminiscent of dark chocolate or fine woods. If you are looking for a brown paint that exudes stability and warmth, Honfleur is the ideal choice for your project.
This furniture paint has excellent coverage and can be applied directly to wood without the need for prior sanding. Honfleur is perfect for giving simple pieces of furniture a high-quality, antique look. For an especially beautiful finish, you can treat the paint with Dark Wax after painting to emphasize its depth, or use lacquer for a durable surface. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease.

Paint
Apply Chalk Paint™ with a brush or roller. One to two coats are usually sufficient.

Seal
Once dry, protect with wax or lacquer – depending on the level of wear and desired finish.
