Tyrian Plum is one of the darkest and most mysterious shades in our range. This rich, almost blackish violet is reminiscent of the deep color of ripe aubergines or dark precious woods. If you are looking for a violet paint that exudes maximum elegance and an almost mystical gravity, Tyrian Plum is the perfect choice for your furniture.
The furniture paint offers excellent coverage and can be applied directly to wood without the need for laborious priming beforehand. This shade looks extremely luxurious, especially on large pieces of furniture. To further emphasize the depth of color, you can treat the piece of furniture after painting with clear wax or, for even more drama, with black wax. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease.

Paint
Apply Chalk Paint™ with a brush or roller. One to two coats are usually sufficient.

Seal
Once dry, protect with wax or lacquer – depending on the level of wear and desired finish.
