Autumnal Decorative Signs with Mushroom Transfers

Charming autumn signs can be created in no time at all from old wood and atmospheric motifs. The combination of weathered wood, transfer foils with mushrooms, and natural materials like leaves or twine makes every sign a little one-of-a-kind piece—perfect for an entryway, windowsill, or autumn table decoration.

How to achieve the look

Prepare

Weathered pallet boards, cut to the desired size, are suitable as a base. Alternatively, smooth wood can also be given a vintage look using the wash technique or a wood stain.

Place motifs

Cut out the desired mushroom motifs from the transfer sheet and arrange them on the sign. As long as the carrier film is still on the motif, you can slide it back and forth as you like until everything is in place.

raise the transfer fee

Now carefully peel off the white backing, place the motif onto the wood, and rub it on thoroughly using the included wooden stick. Then, slowly peel off the transparent protective film – the transfer will remain adhered to the sign.

Decorate

Your autumn project is finished!

Done! With a transfer motif, you have turned simple wood into a unique decorative piece in no time at all. The fine details of the motifs look especially beautiful on natural or slightly weathered wood.
